My Smart Cap is not working

It can be frustrating when you have a new device but can’t seem to get it up and running straight away! If you’re having any trouble waking up your Smart Cap follow these steps and you’ll be ready to go in no time:

Ensure you have removed the plastic battery isolator strip. Try to wake the Smart Cap up by shaking it four or five times. If the red light doesn’t come on you can take the battery out of the Smart Cap, wait two minutes then put the battery back in. This removes all the power from the Smart Cap and essentially turns it off and on again.

Take a look at the video below for a refresher on how to wake the Smart Cap initially, and if these steps don’t help in your case, let us know so we can help out!
