How do I screw in a new gas canister?

It's simple to attach a new gas canister to your trap. Below are a few steps to make it nice and easy.

Step one

First, remove the gas canister’s plastic top.

Step two

Next, with the trap secured to a tree or trap stand, screw the canister anti-clockwise so that the canister’s thread connects with the thread inside the trap. You’ll hear a ‘hissing’ sound as you do this.

Step three

Continue screwing the canister into the trap until the hissing sound has stopped and then tighten the canister even more until it’s hand-tight. It only needs to be screwed in tightly enough so that no gas can leak out.
